    65,000 people connected community and cuisine at a farmers’ market, urban garden and “soap box” stage.

    Inspired by the self-sufficiency campaigns of World War II America, the Slow Food Nation Victory Garden was a living testament – right in front of City Hall – to a healthy community’s ability to feed and support itself.
