  San Francisco’s historic Commonwealth Club hosted three panels on current issues in food and agriculture.

• Museo ItaloAmericano

  The Museo ItaloAmericano hosted a special exhibit of Douglas Gayeton’s photos of life in a Tuscan town.

• The San Francisco Library

  The Library screened three films on food in conjunction with Slow Food Nation 2008.

• The World According to Monsanto

  The Roxie Theater screened The World According to Monsanto, an outstanding new documentary.

• World Affairs Council

  An exhibition of Hungry Planet: What the World Eats.

• Yerba Buena Center for the Arts

  A panel discussion on how to make the urban landscape more productive.
