Slow Journeys

The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the most important regions in America for sustainable food and wine, with one of the nation’s largest concentrations of Slow Food members. Slow Journeys showed visitors the best of this region via one-day trips hosted by local Slow Food chapters. Each of these chapters used their personal contacts to create one-of-a-kind visits to local fisheries, wineries, ranches and farms. Visitors enjoyed Slow Food-style food, wine, education and – most importantly – conviviality.
