Soap Box
Slow Food Nation Victory Garden | Friday, August 29 - Sunday, August 31 | 9am - 4pm | Free
The stewards of the land have stories to share. The Soap Box was an occasion for farmers, food producers and “intellectuals of the earth” to speak for ten or twenty minutes on a small stage in the Victory Garden. The program also featured music and dance performances rooted in agrarian traditions and presentations by urban gardeners, young activists and leaders from local community-based organizations.
