The Effects of Pine Pollen
Forget about synthetic protein and creatine supplements, this is the stuff that gives my body natural and consistent energy! After just a couple of weeks, this natural supplement has given me noticeable health benefits. I feel this natural energy all throughout the day that I haven’t felt for ages. When I workout at the gym, my muscles are stronger and my endurance has significantly increased. More about this later… If you want to find out where I get this product, simply click the link below. They sell the highest quality supplements I’ve found so far, it’s all organic and prices are very good.
This Is My Pine Pollen Experience
There were mainly two main reasons for why I wanted to try pine pollen:
I wanted to stop feeling tired all the time.
I wanted to get stronger and burn more fat when working out, without having to take some dodgy supplement that could harm my body.
I work in an office environment, and I workout at the gym 5-6 times a week. Even though I live a pretty healthy lifestyle I felt this constant tiredness, especially at the office. I would just feel so tired throughout the day, even after drinking several cups of coffee. This extra intake of caffeine, of course, affected my sleep, which resulted in me waking up super tired every morning.
So after work, I would usually hit the gym, but I really had to struggle to bring myself to get there every day. I was already exhausted from work and the last thing I wanted to do then was to lift heavy weights. Having no energy creates a negative spiral in your life.
Luckily, a friend of mine recommended Istart my morning by drinking a glass of water mixed with a tablespoon of Pine Pollen. I have to say I was a bit sceptic at first, but at that point, I would try almost anything. I remember the first time I tried it. As soon as I drank it, I felt this natural energy kick in my brain and suddenly all the tiredness was gone. The same thing happened at the gym. It gave me both energy and motivation to workout, it reminded me of the benefits of Chia Seeds, but this was still something unique. The greatest part about this supplement is that you don’t crash on it, unlike coffee. I drink 3-4 glasses a day and my energy levels are constant.
Does Pine Pollen Really Work?
A while back, about seven or eight years ago, I was working out at the gym quite a bit and I tried creatine to boost my workout. That actually gave me quite a bit of result, fast, I gained muscle mass and weight and a lot of energy. The boost I’m currently experiencing reminds me very much of creatine, but without any of the side effects – I experienced an increase in acne. In terms of results, I think I’ve benefited quite a lot from Pine Pollen because it contains natural testosterone.
I don’t know how much of the gain that is from the extra energy that makes you able to work out harder and thus gain more muscles and how much is that is actually helping you build muscles, but with a combination of a diet rich (not extremely rich) in proteins I have managed to gain 3 kg in 5 weeks, pure muscles. And it’s all natural! I wouldn’t swap this natural supplement for any other product when it comes to exercising and workout.
I also noticed that the effects of Pine Pollen are similar to Mucuna Pruriens, so be sure to check that out as well. I actually stack the two superfoods together for an even greater effect.

Strong Increase in Energy
The major effect of Pine Pollen kicked in after I have used it for about two weeks (1 tablespoon, 2-4 times a day). I especially felt that endurance is what does it for me the most and it has similar effects as Bee Pollen or Mucuna Pruriens. Having more energy for physical activity makes it so much easier to work out, jog, lift weights and so on. Since you have an increase in energy, it also lifts up your mood. For me, this is especially important when I have boring things that I know I should do, but I’m too lazy to do such as studying, cleaning, etc.
I have no allergies and I’m not pregnant, so I’m fine, but if you are planning to try it, it may be a good idea to make sure you don’t have any allergies to pine or pollen. People without allergies should be fine as long as we stick to the recommended dosage and only take it for a limited period of time. How long time varies from person to person and the dosage.
Now, the recommended dosage depends on where you get it so be sure to always stick to the dosage recommended by the company from which you bought your product and as always, ask your doctor’s advice before trying any new supplements!
There are many claims of pine pollen being a sort of brain or mental booster. This is not something I experienced, even though I acquired more energy, which makes it easier for me to focus on stuff. But if you are looking for something to boost your brain I recommend you buy noopept or if you want something natural ginkgo biloba!
Where To Buy Pine Pollen?
A question we get asked a lot is: where can I buy pine pollen? Well, I get it online at Lost Empire Herbs. They recently updated the design of their website so everything is really easy to find and they present great facts and research about all their products.
I’ve bought this product from maybe seven different online stores, but Lost Empire Herbs is without a doubt the best in terms of highest quality and best results. They are not the cheapest, but the quality is excellent and the 15% discount is quite nice as well.
If you’re living in the U.S., they always keep the shipping time. They do ship overseas as well, so no worries there. Although the shipping time is a bit longer.
More About Pine Pollen
Each spring, pine trees produce yellow stuff that we often wipe or wash away oblivious of the benefits of pine pollen. Humans have taken advantage of this natural supplement’s medicinal properties for thousands of years in many forms owing to its unique characteristics. It is a tonic which means that it can be used for a certain period of time without negative effects. It is also an adaptogenic treatment that caters to all areas of distress in the body.
There are scientific studies supporting many of the claims of benefits, even so, most of it needs further research to be completely confirmed. Despite its many abilities, it came in the limelight when people discovered its androgenic properties. It has sterols that contribute to the growth of pine trees, but as pine pollen tea it raises testosterone in people.
This makes it one of the rare natural testosterone boosters known to man. Gibberlins in pine pollen act as prostate regulators, the adaptogenic effects are in play here as compounds in the pollen shrink an overgrown prostate and increase the size of a small one. Due to this, pine pollen is considered a great testosterone supplement for anyone who may be experiencing problems with testosterone levels as well as prostate size. In doing so, pine pollen testosterone supplements or teas improve fertility and increase sperm count thanks to arginine, a precursor for nitric oxide. Arginine is the compound responsible for blood flow into the penis, promoting more sperm production as well as fertility.
Powder or Tincture?
Pine Pollen Tincture is another way of taking this supplement, which is claimed to be even more powerful than the powder. So what’s the difference between ordinary powder and tincture? Basically, the pollen is mixed with alcohol and left for two weeks. During this time, the alcohol extracts the phyto-androgens like testosterone and DHEA from the pollen and leaves you with a very concentrated liquid. When you drink it, the alcohol delivers everything straight to your bloodstream instead of having to go through the digestive tract where most powders don’t make it through.
What Does The Science Say?
Taking pine pollen does not only boost testosterone but also benefits the heart by increasing superoxide dismutase levels (SOD). SOD is the enzyme responsible for protecting the body against free radicals, which are rogue oxygen molecules present in all cells and are thought to be strongly associated with ageing. The dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in this supplement has several benefits including:
Increase Bodily Energy
Improve Glucose And Insulin Tolerance
Special sterols in pine pollen supplements work against tumor development without damaging healthy cells around it. Pine pollen also stimulates antiviral activities against Herpes 1 and measles among other viruses with some indications that it is stronger than many pharmaceutical anti-viral in the market. It is indeed an all-round natural solution that helps rid the body of toxins or foreign chemicals. This is because of sterol brassinosteroid which improves liver microsomes’ function for better disposal of foreign chemicals. Despite it being a well-studied supplement, more research is needed to completely confirm all the benefits.
There are many myths about this supplement including one that suggests that it is only useful for men because it is an androgen. This could not be more false because women also have testosterone whose levels decline over time leading to myriad problems. Taking pine pollen testosterone supplements is very important for them as well to help with a decline in mood, low libido, fatigue and the onset of menopause. It is also beneficial to women and men alike as it can be topically applied to the skin to deal with conditions like eczema, diaper rash, acne, impetigo among others. There are many benefits of pine pollen, and you need to identify the purest form for the most anti-aging, vitalizing and cognition benefits whether you are a man or woman. The constituents can vary a bit as well as the quality, depending on where you buy it.
A Word of Caution
Very few side effects have been reported, and it is regarded as safe when used for short and limited periods of time. However, in rare cases, it has shown to cause an allergic reaction in people previously having tested negative in pine pollen allergy tests. Regarding pregnancy and breastfeeding, there is too little research done, so stay safe and avoid this supplement if that is the case. As always, ask your doctor’s advice before trying any new supplements.
Now, there is no general recommended dosage, as the optimal amount varies and depends on several factors such as age, body size and general health status. It also depends on the product and its quality, so be sure to follow the dosage recommended by the company from which you get pine pollen.
At Lost Empire Herbs, they recommend 1/2-1 teaspoon twice a day. They claim you have to put it under your tongue for best effect, but I found that quite difficult, so I took it with orange juice.
